Hi, I’m Lauren Spencer—labor support doula and childbirth educator.

I live in Independence, MO, where I’m embracing the joy, chaos, and love that come with raising two toddler boys! As a follower of Christ and a lover of the outdoors, I feel truly blessed to connect with families during one of life’s most transformative experiences.

With a background in education and five years of full-time teaching, my passion for birth began during my first pregnancy. Experiencing the miracle of childbirth firsthand ignited a deep calling within me. After the birth of my youngest, I knew my heart belonged to supporting families on their own journeys. That’s when I stepped away from teaching full time, became a certified doula, and founded Beloved Births KC LLC.

It’s an honor to walk alongside families, offering guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support through pregnancy, birth, and beyond. I’d love to be part of your story!
